Philip D. Price is the managing partner at Price Law Group. Mr. Price grew up in the coastal region of Georgia and graduated high school in Wayne County, Georgia. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia in History, Religion, and Anthropology, Mr. Price graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007.

Mr. Price began his legal career as a Criminal Defense attorney in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. These valuable early experiences prepared Mr. Price to seamlessly transition into practice in the North Metro area as he joined Abernathy Law Group in 2008.

Rarely a day passes where Mr. Price is not found in a courtroom, defending and prosecuting cases in criminal and family law proceedings. In his criminal practice, he has conducted and won jury trials in multiple jurisdictions and at multiple levels. Mr. Price has successfully managed thousands of criminal proceedings at Superior, State, Magistrate, Juvenile, and Municipal Courts throughout Metro Atlanta. While Mr. Price confidently pursues positive outcomes for his clients, he is equally adept at managing resolutions for the Defendant without exposing them to needless risks.

When he is not found in a courtroom conducting a criminal proceeding, Mr. Price is usually navigating the myriad issues related to divorce, custody, child support, contempt, juvenile, property division, alimony, and other family law matters. Mr. Price routinely represents clients at mediation or arbitration proceedings with an aggressive approach to protect and represent his clients, all while ensuring that practical resolutions are not ignored.

“The worst day of a client’s life is usually the day before I meet them. It’s the day they were arrested, or their spouse left them, or their children were removed from their care. My goal is to improve their position every day, with honest and frank advice, and to make sure they leave my professional services knowing we moved every day towards a better result.”

To date, she has guided thousands of clients charged with anything from minor traffic infractions to serious violent offenses.
